This year the National CP Championships will be held using IPC classification.
CP swimmers without classification may swim as guests if space allows.
The events will be as below for all classes:-

Maximum of 5 events may be entered.
Minimum age 12 years on 31/12/10.
All races will be swum as time banded with results re-sorted according to class.
The medal system has changed from one of place in a class to one based on time.
Medals will be awarded according to a minimum achievement time within each class.
The achievement times will be published at the start of the Championship.
Example below:-
The Class 4 swimmer would get silver even if they came first out of three, and the next
swimmer would have to achieve at least 01.12.56 in order to receive the bronze.
The Class 7 swimmer would get gold even if only swimmer in the class.
