The National CP League has been awarded the Football Association (FA) charter standard league accreditation.
This accreditation recognises a commitment to raising standards throughout grassroots football ensuring it is well organised, well managed and providing a positive experience for all players, coaches, referees and volunteers.
The FA sanction and recognise the league, and the league adheres to FA policies and guidance. Cerebral Palsy Sport advise and support the league committee. Thanks go to the volunteers who make up the league committee and have worked hard to reach these standards.
Cerebral palsy football creates a fairer game of football for players with a physical disability. In the majority of cases the reason people do not play ambulant cerebral palsy football is because they can’t find enough players to make a team, and play pan disability football as the only other option.
The National CP league has plans to grow and recruit more adult CP teams, as well as expanding provision for Junior CP football. If you want to find out more about joining the league contact Lisa Morton-smith (League chairperson) CPFootballchair@hotmail.com Find out the latest league information here: https://www.cpsport.org/sports/football/leagues-and-competitions/
