CP Sport are proud to be working in partnership with Proveca who will be the headline sponsor for the CP Sport National Swimming Championships and a new Diversity Event, in 2022.

Proveca is a European pharmaceutical company who specialise in the development and licensing medicines to address unmet medical needs for children. Working with clinicians, parents, carers and children, Proveca are leading the way to provide licensed medicines that are tailored to children’s specific requirements.

Since September 2021 CP Sport has been able to return to ‘on the ground’ sport events in parallel with its virtual events. Participants with cerebral palsy have been able to start to return to clubs and activities safely and confidently. Some individuals and families have been getting involved in physical activity for the first time with the support of CP Sport services such as its online Club Finder and equipment rental service, and many have returned to regular activities and training. The Paralympic Games in the summer demonstrated the importance of returning to sport, not only for the performance aspect but for the feeling of community, friendship and wellbeing.

“We are excited to announce a new partnership with Proveca who will be sponsoring two of our biggest events in 2022.  Proveca will be supporting us to get back in the pool for the National Swimming Championships and to deliver a new Diversity Event in Manchester.  Proveca support the cerebral palsy community through their therapy work and development of medicines specifically for children with cp.  We are delighted that Proveca are able to support the development of opportunities for the cp community to get involved and get active and we would like to officially welcome Proveca to the CP Sport Family.” Adi Fawcett, COO CP Sport

“The Proveca team are delighted to be sponsors of such a fantastic charity that can provide people of all ages with cerebral palsy, the opportunity to be physically active and compete in sport.  Sport is a tremendous way of boosting self-confidence and wellbeing for all, and we’re honoured to play our part in supporting the wonderful people who make this possible.” Dr Simon Bryson, CEO, Proveca
