Holme Pierrepont Running Club, based at the National Water Sports Centre near Nottingham, have been raising funds for CP Sport from social events as well as races staged by the club throughout 2021.

The total raised to date for CP Sport is £2,758.

As part of CP Awareness Month activity Sandy Drummond from CP Sport was invited to the club for a cheque presentation and to have the chance to join the club for one of their running sessions. Sandy said,

“Thank you to the club for their fantastic support, they have raised an incredible amount through a wide variety of events in 2021. This will help us to support more people with cerebral palsy to access and enjoy sport. It has been great to meet the members and take part in a session this evening”.

This year the marks the 40th Anniversary of the club’s foundation, and they support a different charity each year.
