Safeguarding, Wellbeing & Safety.
Cerebral Palsy Sport has the responsibility for creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for everyone to participate in Cerebral Palsy Sport events, activities and programmes.
As Chief Executive of CP Sport, I want to begin by reassuring you that safeguarding is something we care deeply about. At CP Sport, people always come first, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone who connects with our work feels safe, respected and supported.
We recognise that concerns about safeguarding can be difficult to raise. You may be worried about yourself, about someone else, or unsure whether what you have noticed is something to share. Please know that you are not alone, and that we are here to listen and to help. Safeguarding at CP Sport is about creating an environment where people feel comfortable speaking up and confident that their concerns will be taken seriously.
We aim to demonstrate best practice in safeguarding and to set clear minimum standards that everyone should expect when engaging with CP Sport. These standards apply to both children and adults and are central to the way we work with participants, staff, volunteers and partners.
This page includes the contact details for our safeguarding team, who are available to offer advice, guidance and support. If something doesn’t feel right, or if you simply want to talk something through, I encourage you to reach out. By doing so, you are helping us to care for one another and to keep CP Sport a safe and trusted place for all.
