The Paralympic Games 2020 take place from 24th August to 5th September 2021 in Tokyo. It will be the 16th Summer Paralympics and the second time the Games have been hosted by the Japanese capital. 537 events from 22 sports will be contested, with badminton and taekwondo the new additions to the paralympic programme. There will be a number of GB athletes taking part in the Games who have cerebral palsy and our ones to watch include CP Sport event participants Tully Kearney and Grace Harvey in the swimming events. Tully was a regular at our virtual cafes in lockdown, and has attended athletics events, swimming events and taken part in fundraising for CP Sport.
