The National CP Cup returned for the 2021-22 season.

CP Sport welcomed NEY FC, Norwich, Brighton, Derby and Chelsea to the University of Northampton on Saturday 27th November. Despite tricky weather conditions, everyone was treated to some fantastic football throughout the day. The Cup was played in a round robin format.

Matches’ were competitive and played in fantastic spirit which is credit to everyone who took part.

The CP Cup was decided in the final round of fixtures between Norwich and North East & Yorkshire (NEY), with NEY claiming victory with almost the last kick of the game. NEY FC have confirmed their place at the 2021-22 FA Disability Cup in June 2022 at St Georges Park.

We would like to thank all players, coaches and spectators that made it to the University of Northampton.
A special thank you to Richard Hird for helping support on the day and match officials Terry Jeyes and Paul Englefield filed, without whom we could not have held the event.

Teams now turn their focus back to the National CP League which resumes in the new year. For more information about CP Football and the CP League please contact Rich richard.kerr@cpsport.org
